Totara race day

In preparation for totara race day we made cars that are powered by rubber bands.
I made my car with Toby and another friend.

Then it was race day! We set them up in trinity hall ready to race. Our car put up a good fight but Bianca's rubber band car won because it managed to go the furthest.

I feel so excited about Rainbow ski field in September 15th or 16th and iv only been there once. This year I will go on the intermediate slop.

I will explain what nuclear bombs do to the earth and how destructive they are.
We will also discuss what nuclear power is used for.

There are many types of devices that use nuclear power. These include nuclear power plants and nuclear weapons.
Both of these are powered by a nuclear reaction between chemicals.

Nuclear power can be very dangerous.
During WW2 an atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima killing many people.

The Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine is another example of how dangerous nuclear destruction

can be.

This is my explanation of what nuclear can used for and how destructive nuclear power can be.
